About and FAQs
-
What is the service fee?
The fee for a 45-minute individual psychodynamic / psychoanalytic psychotherapy session is CAD $200.
No HST is added.
-
Does therapy take place in person or online?
Sessions are primarily held in person, though online appointments may be available when appropriate. In-person psychotherapy is generally recommended.
Treatment is often arranged twice weekly to support continuity, depth, and the development of the therapeutic work.
-
Do you offer an introductory consultation?
Yes. I offer a complimentary introductory conversation of up to 30 minutes before beginning psychotherapy. This provides an opportunity to briefly discuss what brings you to therapy, ask questions, and consider whether working together may be a good fit.
-
Is the service fee covered by insurance?
Many extended health insurance plans cover psychotherapy provided by a Registered Psychotherapist. Please check with your insurance provider to confirm the coverage available under your plan.
-
What is the cancellation policy?
Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice. Late cancellations and missed appointments are charged at the full session fee. Rescheduling is subject to availability.
-
Are you currently accepting clients?
I currently have very limited availability for new psychotherapy clients. If you are interested in working with me, please make contact to inquire about current or upcoming availability.
